Co. : company의 약어로 개인회사를 포함하여 모든 형태의 회사에 대한 통칭입니다.
Ltd. : Limited company 혹은 Limited-liability company의 약어입니다. 각 주주의 부채가 자기가 소유한 주식가액만큼 혹은 미리 정해놓은 정도까지만 한정되어있는 회사(a company in which the liability of each shareholder is limited to the par value of his stock or to an amount fixed by a guarantee). 즉, 유한회사인데 주로 영국에서 쓰는 표현이죠.
Corp. : Corporation의 약어입니다. 법에 의해 (법)인격 및 상속권을 부여받은 단체(a body formed and authorized by law to act as single person and endowed by law with the capacity of succession). (자연인에 대하여) 법인(法人)을 뜻합니다.
Inc. : incorporated의 약어인데요. 법인체로 만들어진(formed into a corporation). 즉, corporation과 같은 것인데 단지 Limited처럼 수식어의 형태로 표기한 것입니다.
